Trinidad & Tobago

About the Campus

Bethel Bible College of the Caribbean Trinidad and Tobago is a denominational institute that exists to prepare individuals for Christian ministry in a Pentecostal context. The institution began in 1959 and is owned and operated by the New Testament Church of God Trinidad & Tobago, with international headquarters in Cleveland Tennessee, USA.

In February 1959, Rev. & Mrs. Claude Smith began training and equipping Christian workers under the name of the New Testament Church of God Bible Institute. Due to lack of facilities to house the institute, economic limitations, and the geographical location of the students, classes were conducted in various local churches . In 1975 Church of God World Missions assisted in erecting the Convention Center in Barataria, part of which accommodates the Bible Institute.

2015 saw a change in the name of the Bible School from the New Testament Church of God Bible Institute to Bethel Bible College of the Caribbean.

Currently, Bethel Bible College of the Caribbean Trinidad and Tobago has adopted two of the programs of the Church of God Department of Education School of Ministry, namely, Mobilize and Certificate in Ministerial Studies (CIMS).

Also on offer are courses that would aid persons in developing their knowledge in music, counselling and Computer literacy.

As we seek to develop our physical infrastructure and course offerings, we are very hopeful and eagerly look forward to the journey ahead.
