Message from the Principal

Bishop Don Douglas is Principal of Bethel Bible College Caribbean – Trinidad & Tobago.  He is an ordained Bishop in the Church of God.  He started ministry pioneering a church in Williamsville, Trinidad 32 years ago.  With a passion for souls, he held many Crusades, Revivals, Conferences, Seminars, Camps in which he saw many delivered and set free from the bondage of sin. 

He has served the Church in Trinidad and Tobago in many other capacities including that of Television Evangelist, Bible School Lecturer, Ministerial Care Counselor/Director, and National Youth Director.

While living and studying in Louisiana, USA, Rev. Douglas pioneered the Hope Centre Church of God, and served on the Ministerial Development Committee.

Rev. Don Douglas has served as Pastor of the New Testament Churches of God in Williamsville, Claxton Bay, Lengua and Iere Village. He serves as District Overseer of the Gasparillo District and Secretary of the National Council of the New Testament Church of God in Trinidad and Tobago.

Secularly, Bishop Douglas over the years worked as a Statistical Officer, Psychiatric Social Worker, EAP Councilor, and Rehabilitation Programme Manager.

Bishop Douglas is a qualified Social Worker with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and a Masters Degree in Social Work, from Louisiana State University (LSU). He is also the holder of an MBA from Arthur Lok Jack, UWI. Bishop Douglas’ training and experience is evident in his progressive and result oriented ministry. Indeed, he has distinguished himself as a ‘people’ person and servant of the church.

Rev. Douglas, together with Clara, his wife of 29 years, have two sons, Donovan and Donardo, who are both married and work alongside them in ministry.
